Flue Liner Collapse


This photo was taken from the top of a chimney at a 1960's slab ranch home in a North suburb of Boston, MA. The clay liner in the chimney used for the fireplace had colasped. If someone tried to use this fireplace, exhaust (containing CO) would spill out into the living area of the home.
